Terms of Booking - Mosa Psychologie
These are the terms under which Mosa Psychologie provides psychological support. By booking a session through www.mosapsychologie.com, you confirm that you have read these terms, agree to them, and have had the opportunity to ask questions before booking. Please take a few minutes to read them carefully. They cover what this practice does (and doesn't), how sessions work, how your information is handled, and what happens if something goes wrong.
A separate Privacy Statement describes in detail how your personal data is processed and is available on the website.
1. About Mosa Psychologie and the scope of this work
Mosa Psychologie is a private psychological practice run by Dilay Sevahil, a Psycholoog NIP® (NIP-registered psychologist, no. 249552), offering psychological treatment in English and Turkish.
Important to understand before you book:
-
Mosa Psychologie works outside the insurance-funded GGZ system in the Netherlands.
-
The practice does not have contracts with health insurers, does not submit invoices to insurers on your behalf, and does not register your BSN.
-
The practice does not provide formal DSM diagnoses and is not the appropriate setting for severe, acute, or crisis-level mental health problems (for example, active psychosis, acute suicidality, severe addiction, or conditions requiring medication management or inpatient care). For those situations, your GP (huisarts) or the regular GGZ system is the right route.
-
Sessions focus on psychological treatment through evidence-based methods (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and, where appropriate, Ecological Momentary Assessment) to help you understand and work on the patterns that matter for your situation.
If at any point during our work it becomes clear that you would be better served elsewhere, this is discussed openly and a referral is offered.
2. Fees and payment
Sessions are self-pay and are paid in advance through the online booking system. Current rates:
-
Assessment / first session: €105
-
Individual session: €70 (€60 for students)
A receipt is sent by email after each session and can be submitted to your supplementary insurance (aanvullende verzekering) if you have one. Many supplementary packages partially reimburse sessions with NIP-registered psychologists, but coverage varies by insurer and package. It is your responsibility to check your own policy.
Eigen risico does not apply to sessions at Mosa Psychologie. No information is shared with your insurer.
The student rate is available to clients who can provide proof of current enrollment. This can be sent to info@mosapsychologie.com
Rates may be adjusted annually. Any change is communicated in advance.
3. Cancellation policy
Sessions are paid in advance through the online booking system.
-
Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours in advance: 100% refund.
-
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed without notice: no refund. The payment covers the reserved time, which can no longer be offered to another client.
This applies on weekends and public holidays as well.
Cancellations can be sent by email (info@mosapsychologie.com), or WhatsApp.
4. How sessions work
After the first session (intake), we discuss together whether Mosa Psychologie is a suitable fit for what you are looking for, and what an initial plan could look like. The plan typically describes:
-
the issues you would like to work on;
-
the approach we propose (for example, CBT, or a combination with other evidence-based therapy tecniques);
-
the estimated number of sessions;
-
how progress will be evaluated along the way.
The actual work only begins after you have given verbal agreement to the proposed plan. The plan is not fixed. It can be revisited and adjusted at any point.
You have the right to ask questions, request changes, pause, or end the work at any time.
5. Online sessions
Online sessions take place via WeSeeDo, a Dutch secure video platform with servers in the Netherlands that is ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified. You receive a unique link by email before each session and click it to enter a digital waiting room; no installation or account is needed on your side.
When attending an online session, you are responsible for ensuring that:
-
you are in a private, quiet space where you cannot be overheard;
-
you use a reasonably secure internet connection (avoiding shared or public Wi-Fi for sensitive conversations);
-
the device you use is yours or one you trust.
Mosa Psychologie does not record online sessions. You are also asked not to record sessions without prior explicit agreement.
If a session is interrupted by a technical problem, we will try to reconnect via WeSeeDo first, and if that fails, follow up via Zivver secure message or by phone.
6. Confidentiality
Mosa Psychologie operates under the Beroepscode voor Psychologen of the NIP and is bound by professional confidentiality. Information about you and our work together is not shared with anyone ,including your GP, family members, employer, or insurer, without your explicit written consent.
Whether and how to involve your GP or other care providers is something we discuss together during or after the intake, never automatically.
There are two narrow exceptions to confidentiality:
-
A legal obligation that requires disclosure (such as a court order).
-
A situation of serious risk to your life or the life of someone else, where confidentiality cannot reasonably be maintained. In such situations, the step is wherever possible discussed with you first and a path forward is sought together.
7. Your file and your rights
Mosa Psychologie keeps a confidential file containing intake notes, session notes, any reports, and correspondence relating to your support. This file is kept securely (digital files in password-protected folders; any paper in a locked cabinet).
You have the right to:
-
view your file and request a copy;
-
ask for corrections;
-
request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements);
-
withdraw consent for any optional processing.
Full details about how your data is handled, including retention periods, are set out in the practice's Privacy Statement.
8. Ending the work
You can end the work at any time, without giving a reason. Where possible, a final session is recommended to round things off well.
Dilay Sevahil may also end the work, for example, if it becomes clear that Mosa Psychologie is not the right setting for your situation, or if there is a serious breakdown of trust. In such cases, this is discussed openly and, where appropriate, a referral is offered.
9. Complaints
If at any point you are dissatisfied with something in our work, please raise it directly with me first. Feedback is taken seriously and addressed as best as possible.
If a concern cannot be resolved together, you have the right to use the formal complaints procedure that Mosa Psychologie is affiliated with under the Centraal Bureau Klachtenmanagement in de Zorg (CBKZ). Details are on the Complaints page of the website.
You may also submit complaints about professional conduct to the College van Toezicht of the NIP under the NIP's disciplinary code.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on www.mosapsychologie.com. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force on the date you booked.
